We now have 4 cocker spaniels. Cockers are like potato chips, You can't stop
with just one. My newest rescue addition is named Freckles. She is the White
Parti cocker on the left side of the picture. She is the mirror image of
another rescue from 10 years ago. Her name is Sadie. The red head is Kayla.
The buff is Ashley. As you can see, they are members of our family.
My name is Glenda Green. I started this business based on my own needs. I refused to board my “girls” away from their home. I was constantly asking friends, family and neighbors to come into my home and care for my pets. I decided if I felt that way about my pets there must be others in the same situation. I began to research the business. I found there are very few choices in our area. We are Certified in Pet CPR/ First Aid. Pet Nanas is also a member of PSI (Pet Sitters International). My business consists of my husband, Rodney, my twin sister, Linda, and myself. I also have a super lady named Liz that helps when I am not able to handle all of my sittings.
After the initial contact, if you are interested in our service, I will set up a consultation visit (at no charge to you). If you are a potential first time client, I need a 3-4 day notice. These appointments are worked in-between regular pet sittings. You don’t need to have specific sitting dates in order to receive a contract visit. This will give me an opportunity to meet you and your pet(s). I will explain our service in detail and have you read over a contract. While you are busy with the contract, this will give me an opportunity to get one on one with your pet(s).
I require your pets to be socialized. They also need to be current on their vaccinations. If they are shy or uncomfortable around strangers, I will work to correct that issue by getting to know them. If they have separation anxiety please let us know.
I reserve the right to refuse an assignment, if for any reason, I feel this visit might put one of my sitters or myself in an unsafe situation during a pet sitting. Aggressive behaviors of a pet or an unsafe environment are a few of the reasons I may refuse to offer you a contract.
I also offer a Safe Key Program. This allows me to keep a key for your home. If you are using our services on a regular bases (once a month or more) you may decide you would be interested in this program. All clients are assigned an account number. We do not ID a key with an address or name. Your key is kept in a fire proof safe, away from your personal information. If you have emergencies or a short notice is required, you can call ahead and we will not need to meet to pick up a key. Just update your information if there are any changes. It is also handy if you lock yourself out and need to call us to bring your key (cheaper than a locksmith).
What you can expect in your 30 minute visit:
Plenty of playtime, fresh food and water, leashed walks, medication if needed, cleaning the litter box, cleaning up any accidents, & a daily diary of your pets care.
LOTS OF HUGS AND KISSES
We encourage you to call while you are away, to check on your loved one(s).
If you call during your pets visit we may even let you talk to them.
Your pet(s) care is my number one priority, everything else is as time allows. If you have 3 or more pets, depending on the circumstances, I may be limited to the amount of home care I can offer in a 30 min. visit ~ Check rates ~ you can purchase extra time
If requested ~ Home Care ~ No extra charge
~Water plants, change lighting, bring in mail, and bring in the newspaper
~Garbage disposal to/from the curb
